I am asking for basic art supplies such as paint, construction paper, drawing paper, crayons, wiggly eyes, glitter, and frames because my students love to work in the art center to create beautiful pictures and sculptures. They love to paint and draw pictures that go with each one of our units of study. We create self-portraits, paint seasonal pictures and create objects that go with the letters of the alphabet. These are just a few art projects that will be done in my classroom with the students.
These art supplies will enable my students to express themselves through beautiful art and sculpture projects they can make. By doing art in the classroom it will bridge the gap between school and home in a positive way. The students will be proud to bring home their art projects and share how they created it and why.
