My students come from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to help each child find what they are interested and develop a love of reading. Readers are leaders. I believe that the more students read, the more likely they are to become helpful, contributing members of society. I am excited to read the 2019-2020 Sunshine State Books with my students next year! We will be competing in our county's Battle of the Books competition AND working our way towards hitting the "Million Word Club" at our school. Once you're in this "club" you get to ride around town in a limo and our principal treats you to lunch and a book at Barnes & Noble! Thank you for helping me create future leaders!
