These books will make a difference for my students by giving them recently written books with rich and diverse characters! This could change their thoughts on reading entirely. Help me hook them! All of my students are below grade level in reading and often say books are boring. With the new option of a black author feature vendor, I can get books in my students' hands that represent and encourage social justice, equity, and empathy. I am also excited to read some of these books and maybe I'll even read TO them!
