I am starting a new choral program and want to give students a unique and exciting music opportunity. I will have several students who may not have chosen to take my class, but have something they can be passionate about. I want my students to become successful musicians by learning theory and giving them a unique, hands-on technique. Mostly, I want them to be excited about music and be inspired and fulfilled to have music in their lives forever.
I will implement ukulele practice into my classroom by choosing repertoire that the students are able to play along with. We will review strumming patterns, chords, song structure, note names, the theory possibilities are endless! Plus, the kids will be learning a skill to enrich their lives that they will have forever!
