We used flexible seating last year and I can't imagine doing anything else in the classroom. Unfortunately, two of our exercise balls were accidentally popped at the very end of the school year. With this project we are hoping to get some replacements.
The exercise balls were the most popular seating choice I had in our room last year, and I'm sure it'll be so this year as well. I believe the stability balls in a chair type setting will be easier to maintain and keep throughout the school year.
Flexible seating will allow my students to work easily in small groups on projects. It also makes learning a bit more fun than traditional desks in a row.
