Having these books like Holes, The Big Wave, and Freak they Mighty for our reading center will help students open their minds to reading different books and to connect with each other through similarities and differences. Through reading my students will be able to deepen their vocabulary and further their learning. I want my students enjoy reading by reading books with topics that relate to them. I believe in reading stories that will help them deepen their understanding about a variety of topics. The books will be used for individual reading and give students access to books when they may not be able to at home. The books will also be used as a teaching tool during small group reading time. During small group reading students asks questions and discuss the book.
