While participating in speech, I want to make sure my students are engaged in the activity, and enjoy what they are working on. Many of my students are working on identifying the main idea within stories. This skill will help them comprehend what they have to read not only throughout their academic careers, but throughout life. When working on building comprehension skills, I try to meet each of my students at their level, and this project will allow me to do just that. Through using this comprehension activity, I will be able to build on comprehension skills to help my students achieve their special education goals.

About my class
