I am requesting a slab roller for my art classroom. Students gain confidence as artist if they are able to do projects that are successful. Having a slab roller will help my students gain consistency when they create their clay slab projects. If the clay is not the same thickness throughout it leads to structural difficulties within their projects. I feel that if they are successful in their art projects it helps build their confidence and appreciation of the arts. I would like to have this in place for the 2018-19 school year I think it will make a huge difference in the quality of their clay art projects.
