"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies... The man who never reads lives only one." --George R.R. Martin Students need to know there is more than just this world. Through reading different types of literary text, students can be exposed to all types of worlds. My students, stay focused in this one world of going to school. I want to help them experience life beyond the four wall of a classroom. I want to them witness the events the Watsons experienced in Birmingham. I want them to experience true friendship through different works of literature. Through this project, my students will be able to leave the concrete walls of the school and live a thousand lives.
