Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
Now that my students are learning from home, there are a lot more distractions. Many don't have a quiet place to go and often share a room with a sibling that is also doing remote learning.
I teach 9th grade English and currently over half my students are failing.
I would love for them to get their own set of earphones. I feel not only would this help them to concentrate better it would also be sending them the message that we care about them and want them to succeed.
