Students having their own dictionary to use will empower them to learn more words and improve their writing skills. Our students don't have a large vocabulary and the words we take for granted can perplex them.

When it comes to standardized testing, technology will not help them and they will need to know how to use a real dictionary in order to be successful in the classroom.
