Our kindergartners have one set field trip each year. Although they enjoy the trip, students need more opportunities to explore the world around them. Children at this age possess a natural curiosity and kinesthetic activities are a valuable asset in engaging the children to learn through their senses. Items that are needed to build a love of science include these hands-on science tools such as microscopes, safety goggles, magnet sets, and other STEM related materials. I've including some reading and writing items because literacy is always embedded into every subject area.
Students both young and old are motivated when given new opportunities to explore and have science come to life! My goal is to share my passion of science and help spark the interests for my students. I want to be a modern day Mrs. Frizzle!
