As most teachers do, I have many students in my classes that are very squirmy and have the wiggles.
They get tired of sitting in the hard plastic chairs that most classrooms have, and their seating takes away from their focus on what we are learning. I would like to add some stand up desks for those students that do better standing up because it allows them to move around more and refocus on the lesson at hand. I would also like to add yoga ball chairs as another option for seating that will allow them to move around a bit more and be a little more comfortable.
Lastly, my students move around a lot as we work in groups or as I let them pick where they sit to do independent work, so I would like to have enough clipboards for each of them to have one to do their work on. This allows more flexibility in the classroom and greater chances for learning.
