I strive to make my classroom a place of hands-on learning by using math centers for my math instruction. My students receive their instruction in small groups, individualized based on their needs. While I am working with a group, the rest of my students are practicing math in the different math learning centers. In a classroom, it can be hard to keep those centers organized, and my students often have trouble keeping track of everything that goes with a certain activity. My students need new plastic bins, dry erase boards, expo markers, and a classroom easel to help us keep our class running smoothly. It would be very helpful if the students were able to simply read instructions from the easel and is able to grab a container with the needed materials off of the shelf and begin their centers without searching for materials and disrupting small group instruction. With your donation to our centers, you will be allowing my students to be independent and engaged, while I meet with groups to further instruct and meet their needs.
