My students will have 10 uninterrupted minutes of reading daily during their 50 minute class period. Students will get to choose which magazine they want to read. Afterwards, students will have a chance to tell the class about what was interesting to them in their reading. The nice thing about having magazines in my classroom daily is the students can choose the same magazine each day until the entire magazine has been read or choose a different magazine. This reading will boost the students interest to read, which will increase their reading skills. The more one reads the better one reads!
