My students are amazing kids, who are eager to engage in learning. They are smart, vibrant, funny and full of energy. They come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Many of my students come from low income families, and have experienced trauma in their lives. They come to school to feel safe, loved and challenged to be their best. My students speak many different languages as their first language. 35-50 percents of our students are early bilinguals. They are learning to speak and understand English as they tackle academics taught in a second language! My students are incredible kids who persevere through the variety of experiences they experience.
