I have the pleasure to be the school psychologist in a very high needs building that serves approximately 450 students from ages 3 through 12. They come to school to learn and for most the school is where they feel the safest. My school is approximately 95% free and reduced lunches. And the large majority of my students have experienced significant trauma in their short lives. I am trying to do everything I can to work with the staff in the building to give all our students the best chance at being successful not only academically but behaviorally and socially emotionally.
