Each year as we spend our allotted technology funds, we manage to add some type of technology resource for student use. However, we are given strict guidelines about how the funds can be used. We are unable to buy protective iPad cases because the case itself will not impact student learning. In layman's terms, "the students can learn with or without a case." However, we are an elementary school. As expected due to the ages and dexterity of our students, handheld items are often dropped or mistakenly bumped against other objects or people. We need iPad cases to protect our equipment and to provide a safer environment for the student users and the iPads.
