While not all students may choose a career in robotics, coding, or engineering, all students can benefit from the experience of learning how to build and program LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots.
Students will gain problem-solving, collaboration, and programming skills in this STEAM program at our site. Working in groups of 3 to 4, students will build and program LEGO robots in order to master line-following, obstacle courses, and sumo wrestling matches. Students will also develop Language Arts skills through keeping robotics journals to document their work.
Our robotics team could even compete in Cal Poly Pomona's Robot Rally against other schools from other Southern California schools!
