My students can use the Kindles: to take a picture of text then find phonics sounds within text by circling, read text and teacher can review and keep for portfolio of student growth, practice math facts and other math concepts, make a research project video, take practice test... oh there are so many things. Students who hate school or struggle with the classroom often can use a device to record, read, and work on math skills to enhance learning. Helping students begin to see that learning is fun it is a perfect way to build life long learners. My students will love getting their hands on these devices.
