Teaching mathematics with good visualization is fundamental to understanding. Updating our technology would allow us to transition seamlessly between models, graphs, notes, and videos.
Our building has a rich history in the city of Newark and has produced many inspiring people. However, the building is old and gets very hot in September, May, and June. This heat can make learning and teaching extremely difficult. Quiet fans in the room will keep us more comfortable without causing a distraction.
Lastly, our students are a little anxious about returning to school after remote learning. Keeping our classroom clean and having cleaning supplies available to students will help ease concerns about the transition back into the classroom.
