Hello my name is Jami Owen and I teach third grade in Olivehurst California. My school is in a high poverty area. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. My students are diverse, more than half are English language learners. They have a love for learning and show enthusiasm for new experiences. My daily goal for each student is to provide activities throughout the day that challenge and stimulate cooperative learning and critical thinking. Enriching the curriculum with materials that allow each student to reach their full potential is an on-going passion for me.
