The Profile of a South Carolina Graduate states that students graduating from high school in South Carolina will have World Class Skills such as collaboration, teamwork, communication, information, media, and technology. Our school lacks technology. The addition of Amazon Fire Tablets to my classroom will allow me to integrate technology into the curriculum.
These tablets will help students foster and nurture the skills mentioned in the Profile of a South Carolina Graduate. When students master these skills they are better able to leave our school and become productive members of society.
My hope is that not only will I teach my students US History, but I will be able to integrate technology into my content so that students have the skills they need when they graduate from high school.
