The students I work with on a daily basis are students that have some form of a disability but are able to function in a regular education class room. These students need remediation and one-on-one support at times. This is for all subject areas. My students are held accountable to still take and pass state testing.
This can be difficult at times when seating areas for students are limited. In my classroom, the students do not have an area that they can easily work one-on-one or small group with the teacher.
If we are able to receive this table, we will be able to do more one-on-one support and small group interventions with students. With being able to do this, our students will grow more and reduce the learning gap they have.
