My students are an eager bunch. They are of various ages, and from various parts of the city, but we all come together to master fifth grade content. For some it is their third time in the fifth grade, for others, it is their first taste of the material. Either way, my job is to inspire and excite all of these students, and help them see the joys in learning.
Our school is in the middle of the city and lacks most of the basic things that schools have (i.e.. library,art supplies, etc.). Despite the challenges, many if not most of our students are avid readers and will do whatever they can to get their hands on a good book.
About my class
