With COVID-19 impacting our nation, we face the possibility of students attending school only part-time or remotely. Purchasing a sketchbook for each elementary student (kindergarten through 5th grade) will help keep the arts alive wherever they are. Drawing is an important part of a quality visual arts program. Having a spiral-bound sketchbook for each student helps to avoid cross-contamination between students. It aids in organization, since all their drawings are in one place. Students can easily carry it between home and school. Also, having a sketchbook makes drawing outside so much easier! We can go outside in the fresh air and don't have to bother with drawing boards, which would need to be sanitized after each use. The arts are so important and therapeutic during this unprecedented time in our history. Please consider helping our young artists!
