For this project, I am asking for your help in funding a rug for our classroom. I have selected an alphabetical carpet that is perfect for Kindergarten! This rug will allow each student to have their own personal space in the meeting area. We need this rug so that every student has room to be the best they can be!
The meeting area is the epicenter of our classroom. This is where we listen to stories, have discussions, sing songs, read poems and have our movement breaks. I would like to make my meeting area more comfortable and inviting by adding a soft and colorful alphabet rug. We are fortunate to be in a newly renovated classroom, but are lacking some basic necessities such as a rug for our meeting area. Without having a rug where my students can have assigned spots, they have difficulty managing their five year old bodies.
Children will use this rug every day and for years to come!
My students will feel more comfortable sitting in their own space, while building their letter recognition. I also look forward to playing alphabet games using the lovely sound-symbol designs. Thank you for supporting our classroom!
