One of the reasons I am drawn to science is the hands-on practice and its connection to the real world. I want to bring my passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and science to life with a classroom escape room.
I can't wait to see the looks on my students' faces when they learn that they will use UV lights, combination locks, and puzzles to simulate a real escape room. Students will divide into teams of approximately four to five students to solve science problems to earn a "clue". They will then use those clues to open lock boxes, solve puzzles, and crack a Morse code to escape the classroom in under an hour!
I feel confident that this project will be engaging and promote teamwork. I want my students to be excited about school, and I believe that an escape room will do the trick!
