First grade needs a lot of modeling. A document camera will help enhance the modeling. It helps to enlarge text for students with vision impairments. Students will also be able to share their own work with classmates.
An iPad will help my students to be more tech savvy. It will provide many of the students with their first opportunity to use such technology. There are many apps that provide students the ability to create and upload videos, study sight words, and read. There are endless possibilities with an iPad.
The writing tablets are a big help in saving paper. But that is not all. They are great for creative expression! Students will be able to practice their handwriting, spell sight words, and solve math problems.
