I want my students to have the opportunity to make their own choices. When it comes to their learning, I will have a table that I can work with small intervention groups. Students will have choices, such as exercise balls and wobble cushions, to sit where they find it most appropriate for them to learn. Providing students with flexible seating will allow them to make the choice of where and how they learn best. By providing some of those seating options, students will be making the choice of what is best for them. We all know that when we are comfortable, we work better. I want my students to have the opportunity to make that choice. Throughout the day, I want their seating to be their choice. Also, providing a range of choices will help them experiment and be able to choose which works best for their learning.
