I am extremely passionate about differentiation in the classroom. I spent two years as a math intervention specialist and I have tracked the growth students make when they participate in rotations and small group instruction.
To be successful in math, students need the tools and prior knowledge they may have missed in previous grades; having a Chromebook station will allow me to utilize small group instruction to give every student what he/she needs. I can set up rotations where students can strategically work independently while I teach a small group. I can also build buy-in into proven programs such as Khan Academy.
