Science and technology is an area that is often ignored within the self-contained special needs classroom. After participating in a STEM conference, I have learned some great things that can be integrated into my classroom STEM learning, but I need a little help. In order to put this program into place, I need a subscription to the Fab Maker program and a Cricut Maker with tools. Students will read a book, identify a problem and us the fabmaker program to design solutions. They will be able to print to materials that allow them to create their solution in 3-D format. They will become science sleuths and problem solvers using scientific principals. Students will be able to learn about design and technology, learn science concepts using NGSS standards and have equitable access to STEM curriculum.
