The headphones will help my students really enjoy listening to stories in their library center. This will encourage them to be ready to test on their Accelerated Reader program and get points to meet their points every six weeks. Journals will be incorporated for them to write about their stories and help them become better writers. They will then draw and color their pictures that connect to their writing. With these few items my students will be excited to know they will have school supplies ready for them to start off the school year. My students will show an interest in independent reading, and this project will only encourage them to keep learning!
