These classroom supplies are my classroom of students with autism who have difficulty regulating their social/emotional needs. My students with Autism already have anxiety towards change and the unknown, so this pandemic has been extra tough on them.
All of these materials are chosen in order to help reduce disruptive behaviors and increase school work participation.
The color scheme is chosen to help increase calm and focus. Flexible seating, putty, and noise canceling headphones enables students to get the sensory input they need in order to self-regulate their emotions. Thanks for your help!
