I will be going into my second year teaching next year and am moving from a fourth to first grade classroom. My students last year had a lot of trouble sitting still and were constantly getting up and moving around. I spent a lot of my own money on rugs, pillows, and chairs for them. I would really like for my first graders to have even more seating options so that they can learn to the best of their abilities so I have included on my list "gaming" chairs for the classroom library, yoga balance ball chairs for the desks of students who have trouble staying still during whole group, and some shaggy chairs that will match my classroom for small group time. Giving students options really helps them learn in my opinion and we would really appreciate the help funding this project. Thanks so much.
