My school is truly a melting pot of students. They come from a diverse background and bring so much culture and character into the first grade classroom. Many of my students are bilingual and bring with them new words, customs, and traditions to share with class. I love to celebrate their differences as well as similarities and incorporate the diversity into as much of the curriculum as I can.
