I have had the honor of working with eight graders for the past six years. My students have lap tops but I notice when I sit at the table with them, some students feel embarrassed to discuss their work. Thus my vision is to have a computer center with one desktop computer where I can sit one on one with my students. In addition in my school the library is the only option that allows them to use a desktop computer and many times its closed or unavailable. It would be amazing for my students to have this resource as their disposal. Lastly, it would also be a nice way to conference with my ENL students as well.
