Each day during reading and math, my students are given the opportunity to work in small groups and centers, for what is known as our Daily 5 and Daily 3 rotations. This gives them a chance to practice the skills that they have learned in class, either independently or with partners, while I am able to conference with individual students or work with small groups.
Learning games help to motivate students and keep them engaged while providing differentiated practice of skills and standards.
Having my students use learning games, such Vocabulary and Grammar Bingo as well as the Addition and Subtraction Instant Learning Center, will allow them to increase their reading and math skills through fun, hands-on activities that will accommodate various ability levels and learning styles.
