7th grade is a year of new beginnings for most of my students who are coming to middle school/high school for the first time ever. Some students struggle with the expectations of the higher education, and I want to make it easier for all of my students by having things color coordinated (folders, pens) in my classroom. Each class section will be assigned their own color and will know where they can find work or any supplies needed for their own section by looking for their color in the new crates. These items would help my 7th graders' transition into middle school much easier.
