In today’s society where TV shows have glorified the work of our crime scene/forensic experts, my class uses the students’ excitement and intrigue to show them the right techniques to solve crimes while using math and science to get there. By donating to our project, you will improve and expand our lab activities and increase excitement in math and science. My students will look at blood spatter and bullet trajectory examples to calculate angles and what occurred with each activity. With the Electronic Digital Vernier Caliper, the Digital Level Box Protractor Angle Finder, and the Carson LumiLoupe 10X Power Magnifier, each student will EACH be able to find the angles and look more closely at each piece of evidence. My goal is for each student to explore then come together in teams to share ideas and finalize answers. I want them ALL involved in the process.
