This project will make a difference because it will build comfort and a love for reading. The stumps will be in the reading area to provide a comfy seat to read in The books that I selected are well aligned with the current curriculum. Students will use the books to build deeper understanding of content taught in English Language arts and in science. I will use the books to promote research based learning, where students can articulate about their learning and findings. I will use the book sets as non-fiction reading opportunities that enrich knowledge of text features, genre, and structure. The books will also support the building of LOVE for Reading!

About my class
