In giving the students more space on the carpet and a space that's their own, they can begin to concentrate more on their learning. When the person next to them is too close or they have to share a space, it takes away from their attention for learning. Another issue is having too many children and not enough space on my current carpet for them. Nothing is worse than getting a new student and not being able to give them a space of their own. Especially at a title I school. With this new carpet my students will have their own space and then some!
