My students come to me knowing how to use technology. I use technology as a teaching tool and as a tool to reinforce skills already taught. They love using the Chromebooks to "play", while also learning important reading skills.
Headphones and mice with cords create a huge mess for my kinders. They are distracted by the long and tangled cords.
Students use the computers for programs like Reading Eggs, Math Seeds, Starfall, in addition to our assessments. The wireless headphones and mice will make it easier for them to stay focused on the task. It will also keep germs away since they won't have cords to put in their mouths.
