These new books will allow my students to have an updated, enriched and organized library. My classroom library is a place where students can go and independently choose books they are interested in. I try to keep chapter books that are most popular with the students and update them as needed. The students are taught how to take care of the library and how to treat books so that they will last a long time for future students. A library that is filled with a variety of books for all different interest and levels will help to enrich the students independent reading experience. They will enjoy going to the library and choosing books to read and this will in return make them stronger readers. Stronger readers are proven to be stronger writers! It's a win ...win situation!
