We have no reading curriculum at our school, therefore no reading text books. I have purchased many things out of my own pocket to try to provide interesting, yet challenging reading materials for my students. However, there is a limit to the amount of money I can spend. I wanted to provide Scholastic Magazine for my class last year, but didn’t have the resources. Because I teach three classes I need almost sixty copies.
This would allow my students to receive multiple copies of Scholastic Magazine throughout the year. I know they would be engaged with the current events in this material, making reading fun!
