The iPads will be used by my students to take photos of their artworks using the Procreate App or any app of that sort, to aid in making their sketches into a digital art that can be altered and perfected until it is ready to be projected and traced onto a wall to begin the mural process.
The Liquitex Soft body paint will be used by my students to add color to their murals. I’ve chosen to use projection for this project so that my young students can see how they can make small idea grow and be used for something big! The iPads will not only help them with this process BUT they can be used in the art room in the future for so much more! They will be used by the students to take photos and upload their art to a classroom website for their families to see. The iPads will allow for students to dabble with the big role that technology now plays in the art world, and to research certain processes that I often do not have time to show them in one class period (like origami tutorials). These items will open so many doors for the art room to become a place of true individualized learning and creating.
