My students thoroughly enjoy doing special projects each year and they become something that students keep long after they leave my class.
The requested materials will be used to make 3D Plant and Animal Cells come to life. My students will cut and glue all the small details to the main components that are listed on this list.
I have the students use various items and crafts and make their cells come to life. They will use what they think, helps them relate to the different parts of the cells. This allows them to be creative and use items, donated from various craft stores around town to make their cells come to life.
The students enjoy doing this project every year, and once the project is complete I take their cells to the local library to be put on display for the visitors to view and observe how hard students work, in class.
