Having a color printer will help promote efficacious students in my classroom. Our school focuses on the Accelerated Reader reading program that our students monitor their reading progress through. Most of my students are visual learners and need to see their reading levels and progress monitoring graphs on the colored bar that is provided. Having the color printer will allow for each student to have their quarterly reports printed so that they can monitor, reflect, and track their progress inside a date notebook readily available in their hands.
Technology provides a high level of engagement for students, so the majority of their work is done on computer devices. Having a color printer will also allow allow all of their digital work to be printed and displayed in their classroom. This way anyone will be able to see their work and have it shown off.
