Students need authentic text in order to keep their interest. When my students see books that interest them, they don't want to put them down. By filling the classroom library with books my students will enjoy reading, it will allow them to experience more than just their own backyard. Books will take them to parts of the world that they may never travel. Reading books will also help with their writing skills which are an essential part of their future education. I want to keep helping my students to keep their passion for reading through having a variety of text available to them.

About my class
