I am working to create an environment that promotes and encourages a love for reading. A listening center helps develop many skills such as critical listening, vocabulary development, etc. With the iPads, students will have access to numerous stories and texts that they otherwise would not. Students will dive into a good book which will only increase the amount of time listening to and reading stories. Students will each get their own set of earbuds with this project to use with the iPads. The splitter will make it possible for multiple students to listen to one story at a time, creating more opportunities for collaboration. By donating to this project, you will help my third graders foster a love for reading.
